if i had til tommorrow to live - 3/30 for national poetry month

I would Meditate and pray to center myself

Thank God for my many blessings

Kiss my children

Tell my family how much I love them

Give each of my friends a hug

Eat lobster and chocolate

Suck on strawberries

Have a glass of wine or two

Walk along the fountain

Rub my toes in moist green grass

Trace my babies hands

Buy roses and inhale them

Write a poem

Paint an abstract

Doodle in pencil in my journal

Peel dried glue off my palm

Listen to my favorite music

Brush my son's hair

Luxuriate in an oil bubble bath

Play in my makeup and nail polish

Put on a white tshirt and jeans

Red lips, nails and toes

Rub my feet in warm sand

Finish a book

Caress my cat

Kiss my children once for each day of their lives

Tell my man I love him in every way I could

Thank God for my many blessings

Laugh

Skip

Run

Cry

Sleep
